Bloopers!

I am really digging this weeks Toddle Along Tuesday theme of Blooper/Outtake pictures because I have a TON of  those. You know those photos you don't post on Facebook because you look awful at that angle or your kid is making a really strange face those are what we are talking about.
I definitely edit out pictures where I don't feel like I look as put together as I could be or the Little Lady has boogers hanging out, but life isn't perfect, but that's life and life is messy so we may as well show it off.
Someone forgot to zoom out before taking a self portrait. I love home Mckinley is looking at me like I am nuts. She looks at me like this a lot.

Fun times at Jen Jen Graduation (I accidentally wrote wedding earlier and had to come back and change it when my sister who is engaged and getting married next March commented saying she didn't remember getting married yet I am just a little excited about her getting married.) Real ladies roll around on the dirty hospital floor in their nice dresses.

The giraffe diaper hanging out cracks me up the most. She was not too happy about going back inside.

Whoa Car Car
I really need to start posting more of these pictures because they are hilarious!

I Confess

Alright you got me! I confess!
I have absolutely NO will power when it comes to food. I LOVE food. I love salty food, sweet food, savory food, Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian food. I LOVE FOOD! I can not turn down a sweet and I live to eat. I love healthy food and junk food even though I try to stay away from the junk food except at school because there are always cupcakes!

I am currently looking into potties for my almost 1 and 1/2 year old and for some reason the thought of dumping pee and poo out of it grosses me out and this is strange because we use cloth diapers and I dump crap several times a day and it doesn't even phase me. For some reason the thought if dumping a potty crap cup just makes me want to hurl.

I must eat certain things in even number (candy) and volumes must almost always be on even numbers. Especially the radio. Odd numbers are just not ok. This is why I married a licensed counselor.
I live for blow drying my hair. It's relaxing. I can read a few pages in my Sookie book. I can't hear anything going on in the house and if i can't hear it it is Daddy's problem.
I don't understand and dislike anything with a mustache on it. I don't get it and it makes me angry. Along those lines I don't understand all of the nail art. I would pick it off in 5 seconds anyways.
I think I have a broken tooth, but don't want to go to the dentist (someone make me go before I need another crown)
Tonight I will leave the den a mess because my child decided to literally throw every toy out of her 2 boxes. I feel like this will protect us form anyone who tries to break in. They will definitely break at least 1 ankle before they make it to us. Tomorrow I am going to go through all of her toys and give a bunch away.
Nothing too juicy and pretty lame for a Monday night.

Balancing Act

I am not going to lie I am not very good at the whole balancing thing.

I work full time as a teacher, have 2 big dogs, 1 Little Lady and 1 hunky husband and a lot of other stuff going on much like everyone else in the world. You just do what you can do and hope you aren't dropping too much.

I am a priorities kind of gal. I have high priorities like my family and low priorities like making my yard look all put together. And right now family trumps everything. My mama was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and is currently going through very aggressive chemo and right now on my list of priorities making sure she is taken care of is on the top of my list. Thankfully I have been off since the beginning of June and I have been able to make her priority #1 along with my own little family, but now that school is starting back I feel like I have to rearrange.

I am just not sure how I will be able to balance all of this, but you can bet your bottom dollar I am gonna try.
The only way I know how to do it all is to be prepared for anything. I have to be on top of my game and have things prepared ahead of time. I have to have Mckinley's meals prepared for school and her bag packed. I need to try to cook meals for the weak on Saturday or Sunday, and I have to get everything ready for the next day of school the night before or I know everything will come crashing down. Like I said my yard is a very low priority so cleaning out the shed might not happen anytime soon and you know what I am ok with that.

Thankfully I have a great support system behind me and all I have to do is ask.

This little girl also helps me keep it together.
