Love

Photobucket

I plan on making one of these little forts for Kinley and perhaps one for my reading center in my classroom. It is made from pvc piping which is one of my favorite things to make stuff out of. I have made many classroom items out of this fantastically cheap material.  Baby Love will definitely have one of these in her room when she gets a little bigger. I am in Love.

Unfortunately no, but most things I makea re trial and error anyways.
I figure you would need at least

3-4 pieces of 3/4 or 1" piping (you can use whatever size you want, but the bigger teh pvc size the sturdier)
8 elbow pieces with a top/side inlet
some cheap fabric sewn on the top like a curtain to make the drapes. Oh and pvc glue of course because it will come apart during play time (don't glue until you put fabric drapes on)

Cutting the pvc is the hardest part, but you can get a pvc pipe cutter for a few bucks (under $20 at Homedepot)I am going to invest in one myself because it is a pain in the you know what to cut with a hand saw!

Happy building and send pics when you are done! Hopefully I will be making one this summer for my classroom so I promise to post pics = )
